I rec'd a call from (403) 755-8807 today (Apr 11/11). Automated message "calling about your credit card - press 9" Poor connection, man with thick East Indian accent claimed he was calling from "Canadian Banking Services" and wanted my credit card info. Was very pushy. I asked for more info about him, he was quite rude, claimed his comapny was "fully acredited with the CBA, and were authorized by Canadian Federal Laws to collect my credit card info". I asked if he was a third party agency or a tele-marketer and he hung up on me. I tried calling back - no answer. What is the CTRC and/or police doing about this guy?!

What a creepy experience.  The caller hung up when I replied. Royal Bank and Royal Travel are 2 very dishonest companies.

I am on a national do not call list, and this number kept calling. so finally i decided to go to an operator, when i did and notified them i was on a national do not call list, they immediately hung up. definitely a fishing scam. They were asking me for my credit card number and everything. I dont even own a credit card.

when I called it back, got a 'number not in service message'.Phoned the RCMP to let them know - might as well try (notice I said TRY) to stop this con from getting any bites on his hook.I hate 'em!
