They have been calling me and then hanging up. Who are these people and lets get this stopped!

I am getting calls from (403) 648-3978 and my number is registered with the National do not call list. These people don't care if they bug you on sundays on boxing day at night any time of day. They are so annoying.

7 calls in 6 days. Have asked them twice to take me off their contact list. Reported them on dnc homepage. Hope they can do something

just fyi the do not call list only applies to telemarketers, that is people selling things over the phone. Calls for market research and oddly enough newspaper solicitations are exempt. Adding your number to the list will not stop calls such as these because they are using a technicality (it's not technically a sales call it's a survey that sets up an in person sales call.) to get around the list's rules.

Started receiving calls from this number a few days ago. They cal several times a day and when I pick up nobody is there.

Whoever this number represents, they are pissing me off.  They ring the house, I don't answer, then the cell rings.  The first call I had from this number started out with asking me to participate in a survey.  I figure "NO" should have been fairly clear.  But they still keep calling, every damn day, average of twice on each phone!!

Just got the call Feb 7, 2013, She asked me if we recycled, if the there were smokers in the house, if we had pets, and then asked if I was the lady of the house.  I of course said no.  I am on the CRTC no call list too and I also have an unlisted number.

I too got a call from this random number last week. They asked me "survey" questions but that seemed to have no relationship to one an other. The lady also didn't mention what the results were going to be used for. Since the questions were harmless (eg "do I think air pollution is a problem") I answered them all and hung up.

Today the lady called my husband and rambled about winning our choice of 3 prizes, a rice cooker, a set of knives or a vacation/trip (for the same price as a rice cooker?) all because of a survey I answered. They wanted to send a Calgary based employee to our house and my husband was confused enough to let it slip where we lived. She mentioned that they wanted to sell us some other product while they came to deliver the prize. I've tried to call back to cancel, but just get a busy signal.

This reads scam all over it and needless to say we won't be home for the high pressure salesman that's bound to be waiting. Don't bother answering the bogus survey and let your family know not to let them over if they call back. I'm phoning the provider of this number to lodge a complaint tonight.

for the last 3 weeks this number keeps phoning me, lets the phone ring once which is just long enough for their number to register then it goes dead - really annoying cos i just get to the phone or stop what i'm doing then it stops. have not actually answered the call so i am grateful to you all for filling in who and what they are doing
