call from 'ramada inn'.. lots of noise in background.. caller ended call after a few minutes of me sayin.. 'hello.. who? .. who are you? i can't hear you..'

fake call as it was for the fake name we have in phone book

I had the same thing last night! He said he was from the ramada inn! He spoke to me for about 3 minutes! He was asking me questions about trips and where we have gone and how often! I replied we never go anywhere and the last time was years ago! He then asked me if I put things on credit and if I do what credit card that I have! I replied that if I have to put something on credit then I can't afford to take a trip! I use cash and cash only! He then laughed and proceeded on with the call! He then wanted to confirm my address and it was way off and being in Manitoba there is no such thing of an address even close to what he attempted! I replied that I didnt need to give away that info and he then ended the call!! I hope this helps, and very glad I didn't give away anymore info away then he already had!!!

I just got a call from (403) 587-5653  asking for the name we're listed under in the phone book, which is the wrong name! That's how I know it was just a call center, plus... there was a LOT of background noise! Worse call center ever!

same # called me. Wanted info on my 'vacation travel habits'. Yeah right! Like I'm going to tell them when and where I go so they can set up a robbery. DUMB!! The guy said his name was 'ANGEL' calling for Ramada Inn survey. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

just got a call from this number, couldn't understand the accent, but did get he was asking for mrs-
I said can't hear your clearly, nor understand you.  He then said something about he wanted to ask some questions about the Ramada Inn.  Lots of noise in background. Never tried to call back. That is not the number for the Ramada Inn, in Lethbridge.

I just got a call from the same number. There was a bunch of noise in the background, like people talking, etc. And I said hello but there wasn't a reply. Dec. 28th. I'd like to know who it is as well. When there is no reply, you can't call them back, etc. , it would seem someone is up to no good in some fashion.
