Called my cell, don't know anyone at that area code so didn't answer. Figured it was spam as I've been getting a lot on the home phone lately, at least one a day, all of the "You've won an amazing vacation/travel experience, press 1 to win collect your prize" or "This is your Captain calling...". type.*Sigh...can someone please make these clowns stop?

1-(403) 584-7878, received it on my cell, "Because you are a valued Rogers customer you will receive 3000 travel dollars, press 1 to accept", pressed Hang-Up instead.

Got a call today saying....seeing that you are a loyal rogers customer you have won $4000.00 in travel money...just press 1 to accept......Can"t anyone do something about these annoying calls ???

got a call on my cell advising me as a valued rogers customer,i had won 3000 travel miles.  all i was required to do was press 1....i didn't!  i hung up and called rogers who said the number is in no way connected to them.

I have got a call on my cell from (403) 584-7878. I did not answer.

I live in the lower mainland in BC. I JUST got this call. It stated that since I'm special or something, I have received 3000 travel dollars. To accept, press 1.Of course, I'm not going to accept that. What bull. I would NEVER accept a call that contains an automated message; if someone wants to speak to me, they can have a live person on the phone.I say all this because I used to be a telemarketer, though I worked at a legitimate company, and I knew that this scam certainly wasn't legit.Good rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, you can bet your butt that it is!
