Hey victor, arent you the same guy that showed up at my house with the f..expensive vacuum?

I'm constantly amused by some narrowminded bloggers like VICKY. It really shows what kind of mentality these people have. If someone disagrees with their point of view (in this case the vacuum demonstration), they resort to accusing people like me, of working for the company. It's almost like she's shocked that every person in the world doesn't agree with her. How immature. What's the point of a blog if all you want is response from people who agree with your point of view. How subjective! That's why people should be really leery about reading blogs when making decisions about a product/company. As I stated before, I was'nt thrilled about the phone calls and demonstration. What surprised me was that we loved the Filterqueen products so much, we bought them. Does VICKY want us to feel like losers because we bought them? Or is she just a sore loser because she could'nt afford these products? Whatever people feel about the company, they should not try to shove their personal opinions down everyone's throats. IT IS OK TO DISAGREE! People are old enough and smart enough to make their own decisions. I have no problem with some people who disagree with me. Blogs should represent a broad section of opinions, good or bad, without people feeling subjected to ridicule. GROW UP!

I just got a call. A lady from this company thanked me for doing an online survey for them a year ago (which I have no way remembering) and she has a $300 certificate for me. I thought that's a huge prize for just a survey?! She asked me if I still live at such address (which actually was where I used to live, so I thought maybe I DID do the survey). And she went on to say if I live alone and she needs to have both me and my husband present to deliver the prize. That's when I know it's some sort of presentation. I wouldn't call it scam because they probably do have good quality products to sell (like what some of the people here stated). But I have to say their method is not desirable. I own a small set of Saladmaster, which is amazingly good, and they cook a free meal for you and up to 10 people if you host a demonstration. (Even no one buys anything). So I gave it a shot. I am loving it right now. But the prize? yes, very expensive. I did it for health reasons as well. So I guess it really depends on whether you get a good rep who doesn't pressure sell or otherwise. Too bad this vacuum company doesn't just vacuum your carpet for free. Because I think it would be a really good demonstration if their vacuum can suck up more dirt/dust even after you clean it with your own.

Caller from this number claims to represent Ecua-Air Health. I Googled this "company", but no website, no info whatsoever. What did come up was a customer-discussion between people who had dealt with this "company". The word "scam" was mentioned.I live with an elderly person who got a call from this "company". This person allowed a representative into my house, complete with large and small boxes with all sorts of so-called air-health equipment. I don't trust what's going on. The sales person was very aggressive and pushy: high sales-pressure tactics (like promising gifts). I finally intervened and told the man to leave.

Good point Victor! I don't agree with these marketing practices either. I do have to acknowledge that their products are awsome! My mother remembers Filterqueen from many years ago. I guess their reputation speaks for itself. I too bought these machines and I am happy I did. They have made a big difference in our home. My son has asthma and he notices the difference, so I guess that justifies the high price I paid for the vacuum and air purifier. My mother mentioned she paid a high price for her Filterqueen many, many years ago as well, but she still uses it today and will never use another brand again. I used to use that machine when I lived at home and was summoned to clean every week. My mother said they sold them door to door in the past. I guess they now sell them through these annoying marketing practices. Times change and I guess now a days, people don't let door to door salesmen in their house, so these companies have to find creative methods of getting to show their products to people. The strange thing is, that even though we hate these marketing practices, we still find their products amazing and buy them. Are we fools or are we just willing to spend a lot more to clean our homes and have a healthier home? I think the few of us who did purchase, purchased because of the latter. We were impressed enough to make our own logical decisions. The reason I found this blog in the first place was because our neighbor told us they were upset with this company and their methods of marketing. When I saw this blog, I thought it was responsible of me to give an objective opinion.

Well, I wish I had seen this post before, it all happened so fast that I was scared of a scam. The same story told by everyone, the guy came to my place and did the demonstration, it is long boring and yes they dump lots of dust on your carpet, it was annoying. The vacuum cleaner surprised me and I actually bought it, it is working really good and actually a lot better than my older one. The whole sale idea is not good, the guy that came not that bad. I do not work for the company, the company does not have the best marketing strategy but the products are really good, they are authentic. To ease myself I will try to continue thinking I actually paid lots of money for a product that is going to do good for my health and my daughter's health, just one year and always on the carpet. Good luck! Oh, I made the mistake and I took the two nights, tomorrow I am phoning the company and telling them that they better do not give me another sale conference. I am planning to go really soon.
