I think this number may originate from Skype. ?I called my answering machine to test Skype and this number showed up.  So it could be someone you know trying to call you using VOIP or Skype?

This is nothing more than a scammer calling or faxing. These idiots need to be shot and pissed on.

Called and left no message.  2 seconds later the phone rings right after the last call, with a private number showing this time.  NO message either time.

I got this number at 5:30 a.m. It was someone who I previously corresponded with on the internet from a dating site, and who was supposedly working overseas and until this call, had called me only from an African area code cell phone. Turned out to be a real con involving credit card fraud. This guy is networked and there is probably a number of them doing this to countless vulnerable women.
