After receiving more than 2 dozen calls from this number, I finally got through to their voicemal which advised me I could leave my phone number twice in a message and be removed from the list. I was getting 3 and 4 calls a day sometimes. Even had a student come to the door canvassing for the newspaper promotion.

Time will tell if this works.
I had called a number of times and only got the message that the mailbox was full, but persisted and did get through. Hope it works.

The number (403) 214-1305 (calgary herald) calls me all the time, anytime, no one ever leaves and message and its very annoying.  I used to use their service, but no longer do for anything - due to them harrassing me at home.  

Businesses need to be taught a lesson, that there customer should be respected, not abused...customers have the power to put your business out of business - so stop screwing them around...what goes around, comes around - eventually when they are out-of-business - they will get the message as the PEOPLE SPEAK it.

i live in hawaii,i dont think the newspaperboy can deliver sundays paper let alone everyday,if he can then sure ill subscribe,wouldnt that be somethin

theyve been calling me nonstop for the last 4-5 days, pickup and no answer, its 10am and theyve already called my number 3 times, along with 5 retries yesterday, and with 2-4 retries the previous days. i am getting sick of this and am ready to start throwing the word "harassment" in to the mix.i dont see how someone in edmonton would like to buy their crappy paper.
