The military sometimes calls with thisnumber to.  So I think it simply hides the identity of the caller

We have been recieving calls from this # for the last 5 years. ?They call 3-4 times then stop calling for a few weeks then it starts again. Sask tel security advises that you call 1-+1 800-980-5464 and have your phone # removed from their system.

Received a call from this number while I was at work yesterday. He called my work phone, and asked for me by name. Stated that it had something to do with my VISA, but I had trouble understanding him because of his accent. I explained to him that he called me at work, I was busy, and explained that I had to end the call. At that point, he started shouting at me to stay on the line, so I hung up on him. Must be a scam because I do not have an active VISA account.

I just received 3 calls from this number as well!It amazes me that this number is linked to so many concerns, and nothing has been done about it.So much for the "tougher" telephone marketing laws.

Extremely weird call- he called several times before I finally picked it up- he said it was Chris something, and acted like he knew me.  May be tied to Skype, don`t know - but a little scary.
