This is a way to avoid the no call list..they are hoping that you call the number back and then you will hear a recording for lower interest rates or magic jack  stuff you don't care about..don't call..

Me too, and I'm in Ontario...Pretty sure no one in that area code has my number, certainly not anyone i speak to regularly.

So much for the phone company having a blocked number list. These guys seem to get around all that. I called the phone company and they were useless. They probably hacked into the phone company and got all the info they need.
