I have what is called a "skype" account.  It allows me to call from anywhere in the world over my internet to any land line or cell.  It is very cheap.. 2 cents per minute from Mexico to Canada.I am in Mexico right now.  I phoned a friend of mine in Kelowna using my skype phone service and he said (250) 862-9637 showed up as the number calling him.  Perhaps it is some kind of router number???

I have been receiving call from this number (250) 862-9637 over the last month. The calls come in between 5:00Pm to 11;00 without any measage or talking at all. I think telus should disconnect this number.

This guy must be a hacker because he knew what bank I was with. The problem with this guy is he is not professional in what he does. Any telemarketing outlet would have fired him the very first day as he did not have the proper skills to engage a potential client. he is not with any bank (at least not my bank). If you do decide to engage this person, please listen carefully and you will see the hastiness in his breathe as he reads through his script, His speach pattern is garbled, and is very persistant. You can choose to engage him at your own risk just remember - All acct. info is already within a database when your financial institution or rep thereof so do not hand any information out whatsoever. This # showed up on my call display.  I let the answering machine get it.  Turns out it was a call from friends in Germany.  Must be a router number.
