Myself and a few friends had been called to attend a seminar in Burnaby a few weeks back. The agent promised that we all would receive $400.00 worth of free gifts just for attending. I guess we all filled out the ballot at the same time.

When we got there, the office was closed, and there were other people waiting as well. After waiting about 30 mins, the security guard approached us and told us that this happens quite often.

We were extremely angry as like many others there, we traveled a distance and had to find babysitting.

The funny thing is that they even called us in the morning to confirm our appointment.

This company is definitely a scam...so please do yourself a favor and hung-up if they try to con you into something they are trying to sell.

Got the same call in Abbotsford.  Same thing... "you are a finalist to win a Lexus...."  Glad I read the site.  I can't remember entering the draw and no one I know would fill one in for me.  If I've won something I shouldn't have to pay anything or jump through any hoops.  You've either won or you haven't!

we get paid hourly and receive bonuses for high talk time, so if you want to keep us on the phone thats fine.

Hey ya I live in Poco and just got the call.....same crap! You just won a car from some contest you filled out at a car convevtion. this is a majore scam!!!!!!! do not give info......

it is a different number that stands for Aviawest --- I would say several official phone numbers that are different from the discussed one.

I am writing back to DAVID....thanx for writing that it sums up what i wanted to write. Its not a scam....i got the gift certicate money and the hd camcorder just for listening to there speal for about 90 min.
