Aviawest is not a scam. They do have draws for various vehicle leases. If you respond to there phone calls nothing bad will happen. They are not going to come to your house and jam a time share down your throat. If they are calling you, you either entered a draw sometime in the previous few years, or your phone number is listed in the phone book. If you choose to go listen to their time share seminars you may win a prize of some sort. If you do not want your phone number and address to be public, pay to have it be unlisted. Although you may not like Aviawest calling you, they are not doing anything illegal. There is no reason to get so worked up about a company calling you. If you do not wish to talk to them just tell them so, get call display, or if you are very serious have the number blocked from your phone line.

Unfortunately aviawest, doesn't "buy"phone number lists like other companies, i used to work there. They do get your name and number from a draw, but you could have entered the draw like 10 years ago, no wonder you don't remember! who could!. But when people say they are on the do not call list, it doesn't matter at that company, becuase they use information you actually give them, and on the back of the ballot it does say they have the right to contact you. The only scammy thing is that you can enter years before, and they keep calling you every year telling you, you have entered a draw for whatever the current draw is for. Next time just say I don't care when I entered stop calling me, they are usually pretty good about getting names out of the system right away. and working htere sure made me NEVER enter a draw agaiN!! Good luck to you guys

actually it's not that bad. I got a call from them, confirmed the info, made an appt and 10 days later after a boooooooooring 90 minute session of desperate attempts of "mr. I wanna be a salesperson - with a jack lemon mania" the wife and I got a $50 visa gift certificate (which did work without a problem in two different locations) and a free 2 night accomondation at their parkswille bc resort. all you got to do is waitout the session, at the end say that you'll call them (the only way to get rid of a salesrep - as I am one myself) and once you call back not to forget to say that you want to be removed from their call list.
if they're trying to play it smooth you've got to play it smoother, grab the prices and wave goodbye.
good luck all,
camo dude.
