I've been getting threatening calls from this company "ncir" with different phone numbers. One time I called back and the guy i spoked to couldn't even speak proper english however he asked for my sin number. Also he said that I owe 1800 for using hbc credit card that I never had in my life. I use different bank. So I insisted I never had hbc credit card in my life. Then the guy hang up first.

They have been leaving automated messages under the name NCR? ?Say they are not a solicitation, and that they have their attorneys to proceed against me if I do not call back within 24 hours.  They have been calling for 3 months, leaving similar messages.  I actually called them back one time and asked them to stop calling me, and if they had a claim to correspond with me in WRITING ONLY.  Have not received any documentation in the mail since that call.  After that call I made, they actually stopped calling for a few weeks only to start calling again using a name of another agent.  The first calls were from some guy named Peter Kent claiming to be an attorney, and that he was ready to take me to court.  Since then they have used two different names all claiming to be attorneys.  Nothing has happened I have yet to receive a summons, lol.

SAME here..exactly the same calls that I am getting.I lift up the receiver and hang up.

This type of call is not only disgusting; the people responsible should be taken to task. No reputable company would threaten legal action against someone over the telephone. It's done through proper channels ANDlegal paperwork is always submitted.

Thanks for that info.  I've been getting those calls from several numbers now and I keep putting them on silent so I'm not bothered as much,  I'm about the change my cell number.

Today i received the same call and i called them back without identifying myself. they were keep asking me for my phone number and since i refused they hung up. thanks to you guys i know who called and if i should answer it or not
