A young fellow with green dreads representing this company came by today and asked the three survey questions. Suspecting something was up I quickly answered the questions, wished him a good day and shut the door on him.
We let a young guy into our house years ago who was selling encyclopedias and although it wasn't as long and as painful as some experiences that I have read we vowed never to do it again and in the end we didn't buy the product anyway so our thinking is why put yourselves through all that and waste good time doing it.

Well I took a chance and said ok, sure. And in fact I took this food processor they offered and they did come by and give this to me and yes they also wanted to show me their air quality system. But I was actually super impressed with it. Didn't buy one but love this slap chop thing they gave me for taking a look at this system. No big deal really. When u consider all the Ads we watch every day...give these guys a break. They are running a business. Not trying to scam anyone. Anyhow that's my 2 cents

Yeah just like the guy above I saw the ad on Craigslist and being of a good nature, wondered if for any reason at all it might be real. I called them and strangely enough I got a time for an interview the SAME DAY. My wife said it seemed super shady and not to mention a little odd that they were not taking appointments until 11AM - not very professional. So anyhow now I'm as curious as someone driving past the scene of a car accident so I decide to follow through. Hahaha!! I get to the location and I swear the door looked like 10 Great Danes had been trying to get back in after being left in the muddy rain. I bravely used the doorknob to enter and was met at what could only be described as 'the front' 4 minutes later by someone who happened to be walking by upstairs. If appearances alone weren't enough to deter this crazy spelunker, I was certain that the overweight fellow in the suit that he must have just put on after wheeling a keg from the truck to the frat house would surely help. He assured me that it was a very rare opportunity to earn 3000 dollars a month, doing what sounded like a very simple MLM scheme. I declined after asking in what was probably a condescending way, whether or not there were in fact any actual customer service positions available like the ad had said, but he only replied that there was only sales sales and more sales. He felt the need to tell me that I must have been unsuccessful in sales if I didn't share his opinions on their business. Anyhow unless you are a masochistic, mouth-breather, who enjoys scamming people it's not a good idea to go check it out.

They are in Nanaimo now. I had a young kid that ask me three questions last week. Today I get a phone call telling me  I won a prize. I said great as long as you aren't coming over to try to sell me a vacuum cleaner. She ask me if I ever had a filter queen demonstration I said yes. I prefer getting a prostate exam. She hung up. I went through the same crap as these poor salespeople. In 1989 I got conned into selling Kirbys. Same sort of scam. Offering the people a free gift and then trying to sell them a $1500 machine. Kirby was a good machine but only worth more than 400 max. I remember the last time door to door visit I took the gift and smashed it in front of my supervisor and told them this is embarrassing and I quit!

I didn't know about this and young lady came to door said she is researching about air around this area.  So I answered.  THAT WAS WRONG!!  They called and I wasn't home, then I was home so talked her. Then she started to tell me that I won a daily prize brabrabra.....  I said I have enough of everything, then she asked me if I enjoy traveling.  I said No and bye, but she sound very friendly and nice so people who don't know this will that is real.  Just don't waste your time, tell them you are not interested in anything they are trying to sell.

I understand exactly how you must feel. I'm not exactly a minor, but still a young adult woman living alone in my home. The salesman that came to my door was too friendly. Professional people that are selling stuff to a customer should not be that friendly (like asking out of the blue if they can come by your house and hang out in it with you or help you do your yard work). The guy I had was a little too friendly too fast. Didn't like it and felt like the guy was a little sketchy under the clean shirt and tie. Didn't feel comfortable with him at all and I don't want him showing up at my door again because he's bored.
