Just got this call in Creston BC.   Recorded Credit card scam call - just like "Fed Up to the Hilt" posted today.  I wonder if this is  " Caller Id spoofing" ?

Many calls from this number. This morning ther was no area code displayed. I believe the recorded message is about debt consolidation

Called with recorded message. I took the call. Got a guy who said he was from "Debt Pro", handling unsecured debt. I pointed out I was on the do-not-call list and he hung up abruptly.Sounded like an American accent.

I also got this call on Dec 5 but didn't wait long before hanging up. What a nuisance.

Called this morning around 845am (I'm in north vancouver). Didn't answer (never do if I don't recognize the number). No message.

I answered "hello" and he said "hello?" and I said "HELLO" - then the recorded message continued...."Hello....I'm glad you are listening because the credit card companies sure aren't...." and then he ran on at the mouth with his pre-recorded message (none of which I heard as I was shouting obscenities at whoever was managing this robo call). They hung up before the recording completed. YEAH and DON'T CALL BACK. Can't find an owner of this number either business or person ... not listed. Just smells bad.
