I HAVE RECEIVED CALLES FROM 989-455-6755 AND FROM (236) 376-7767. EACH TIME IT IS A MAN WITH A MIDDLEEAST ACCENT.  EVERY TIME I ASK HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER AND TELL THEM TO NOT CALL BACK BUT THEY CONTINUE TO ANYWAYS.  WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS?

I met a missed call in may phone when i called back the call didn't go through,i want to who could that be.

I applied for a loan online, being that I was desperate at the time, and since then my phone and email have been flooded with scam artists. I too googled the 236 area code and found it was unknown in VA but how do we have a state with an unknown area code?? Sounds very fishy.

three calls today from this number.  First two, they hung up and the third, they had my wifes name.  This is my work number they were calling.  They were calling regarding our auto loan application.  

I could hardly understand them with their thick accent.  After asking two simple questions, "who are you calling for?"  They hung up.

I just got a call from this number about my approved autoloan.  wahoo! I'm pretty sure its the same middleeastern guy who I talked to.  Over the last week I've been getting text messages for paydays loans from various numbers, some out of vegas, others I dont know.  Didn't apply for those either, but I did just re-register my cell # on the no-call list.  Hopefully that will help
