236 is resevred for BC canada

I HAVE RECEIVED CALLES FROM 989-455-6755 AND FROM (236) 376-7767. EACH TIME IT IS A MAN WITH A MIDDLEEAST ACCENT.  EVERY TIME I ASK HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER AND TELL THEM TO NOT CALL BACK BUT THEY CONTINUE TO ANYWAYS.  WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS?

three calls today from this number.  First two, they hung up and the third, they had my wifes name.  This is my work number they were calling.  They were calling regarding our auto loan application.  I could hardly understand them with their thick accent.  After asking two simple questions, "who are you calling for?"  They hung up.

these "individuals" call from several different numbers for several different states. The say you owe a payday loan and they will have you arrested unless you pay. There is nothing they can do to you as they are scam artists calling from india. They use names just a jack dawson and many other english sounding names. There is no way to take your number off of their list as they are an illegal company. I had to change my phone number and bank account as they had both of those. They also have  my full ssn number and phone numbers to all of my relatives. They used to scare me,but ,now when they call me at work I screw with them and tell them to come arrest me. Don't believe anything they tell you.They just want you to moneygram money to them on a debt you don't owe.

I just got a call from this number about my approved autoloan.  wahoo! I'm pretty sure its the same middleeastern guy who I talked to.  Over the last week I've been getting text messages for paydays loans from various numbers, some out of vegas, others I dont know.  Didn't apply for those either, but I did just re-register my cell # on the no-call list.  Hopefully that will help

I get numerous calls from this number everyday.  I reject them, but it's becoming an issue.  Who is this and why do they want?
