Here is the so-called scammer's website http://consumercreditadvocate.net/index.html we should do something to overload their servers.

this # just called me and i called it back got the busy signal after trying for like 5 mins. here is the website of those people that are calling you. http://consumercreditadvocate.net/company/contact/index.htmlthe number is listed right on the page but is not working. can u say SCAM dont EVER give these people any info E V E R !

I got the same call, but I did not give any info. I was told that because I pay my balances on time I qualified for a lifetime rate of 6% . I asked what credit card they represented and was told visa and mastercard. I called one of my credit card companies and was told that since I did not give out any personal info, I shouldn't be worried.
All I did was verify I paid my balances in full and on time. I sure hope there isn't any kind of phone fraud involved with this.

I took a call for my wife and the caller, David Roy (heavy Indian accent)(Manitoba area code - but) and he tried to engage me, insisting he would reduce our Visa interest to 6%. To make a long story short, after many questions from me that he never answered I ended up talking to his supervisor Brad Martin(also Indian accent) by which time I had accessed this site (consumer credit advocate - user feedback). I started reading the responses (didn't let him interrupt) and asked if he would like me to read him several more. Of course he said no and that shut him up and he hung up. I suspect they are actually calling from India but it doesn't matter. I still don't know exactly what their scam is but that doesn't matter either! Try the above for a giggle or just hang up on them

got a call from the same number today...claimed they were my credit card company...said that they were going to decrease my interest rate to 6% and when i asked what my interest rate was before and he hung up...this is a scam...dont give them any detail

I suspect they are actually calling from India but it doesn't matter. I still don't know exactly what their scam is but that doesn't matter either! Try the above for a giggle or just hang up on them
