Got a text today (Mar 11/2013). Called me Peter and told me about some website I can meet girls.  canmeetup.com.......I've been SPAMMED.... watch out for this false advertisement.

This number sent me a text message addressing me as Eddie and talking about how I could meet girls on CanDate (some website I guess). Total scam, I have no idea who that is. They didn't call, just sent that weird text.

Yep, heads up, same thing - got a txt msg calling me Lewis (not my name), said "here's the easy casual hookup site I told u about at school, CANmingle.com. I landed 4 babes last week, much simpler than Match ;)"Stupid people... do they REALLY believe I would reply / click on the link / etc?

i received the same msg about a dating site, probably a scam or someone trying to start up a website

I received the same type of message, indicating they:Everett here is the exciting dating web site I mentioned to you at dinner, CANmingle.c om. I landed five ladies last-week, way less difficult than POF ;PI don't  appreciate these sorts of texts  probably a scam,spam or someone trying to start up a website good luck in your new mission..

got the exact message last week and now I have some 11 digit phone number calling. don't reply!
