Called telling me that they were from Visa, and wanted to update my profile. I got suspicious when they asked for the visa customer service number on the back of the card. (I think Visa would know that already)

I received a call from this number claiming they were from Liberty Financial and they needed our SIN number and birthdate to provide us with a proposal to consolidate our debt - of course they did not know if we had any. They did not know what ccs we had etc. They were offering debt reduction services to consolidate all bills into one low interest payment. You can never trust anyone on the other end of the phone these days. Very disturbing.

Got a call from this number yesterday. Very shady. They use a computer to dial and then it rings through to them when you pick up. Very noisy call centre, hard to understand the caller. Said he was from Mortgage Experts or something. Told him not to call back since I was on the do not call list.

i   am talking to a guy..supposedly from the u.s.a...was  busy and couldnt answer a different phone number he calls from.  this call showed     up local and i tried to answer it...same as his other number keeps breaking up and a bad connections..would go with a scammer from africa
