Recorded call tries to sound like a "final notice" from your credit card company (none is specified) and talks about how you can get a 6% rate on all your cards if you have X amount as a balance. Blah, blah, blah.

I just got the exact same call. I'm on the National Do Not Call list with CRTC, so I am going to file a complain... not that anything will come of it of course.

Got a recorded message about a final call for lower interest rate - this is very trying  - t called the number back but couldn't be connected. This "do not call" registry doesn't seem to be doing it's job.

just got a call from this number, didn't even bother to answer. no message left = not important.

I called the # back and it says the # is not in service?!  I believe it to be those pre recorded messages that want to lower your credit card interest rates.  Reference number:  (403) 255-8807 that's been calling a lot too.  same thing!  they want to lower your credit card interest rate.  Why would anyone ever give their credit card # to a stranger who calls you out of the blue?? Do people actually do that?
