Caller: Nobody The number used to belong to a video game publisher and was used for an unlicensed Nintendo game called Wally Bear and the NO! Gang which was released in 1993, where if you called it up the titular character would give tips about staying off drugs.
Strangely enough, the number remained online for years, and was finally taken offline in 2007, a year after the titular game was featured on an Angry Video Game Nerd episode, where that might have been the reason for it going offline.
Nowadays, it’s just used as one of those survey scams, so there’s no point in calling the number.
