Overseas call, more tan likely scam. I get at least one of those once a month ever since there was a major breach of security at my bank 18 months or so ago. Bozo says fraud was committed using my SIN but then asks me what my SIN is "for confirmation". In clear that means he doesn't actually have it. Caller always has East Indian accent but claims an english or french name. Ludicrous.
