Computer calling. from (905) 258-2802 ..I keep receiving messages on my voicemail on a daily basis from these people to return calls.  They do not identify who they are or who they are calling for. So this blog thinks that the number is from GLOBAL CREDIT.

Got a threatening msg from these people also. I will report. Also calls from (905) 258-2845

Received a call a few moments ago. If I do not recognize a number I will not answer. Googled and found this forum (thanks guys). Seems these people arebstarting to call earlier and earlier at 7:25am!!!

Got a call today from (905) 258-2802, the message they left did not say who they were or who they were calling for.  Claimed a recent attempt to contact us went unanswered and that we needed to call +1 877-234-2884 to discuss our file.  Claimed could not give more information over the phone due to privacy act.  From doing a search today found out this seems to be Global Credit.  My understanding if it is a legitimate call they would say who they are and who they are calling, they just can't give out the private information such as why they are calling.  Funny thing is they refered to needed to speak to us(non specific) about our file.  We do not have any outstanding debts with the exception of the house and car and have never missed a payment which is why our credit rating is so high with our bank, so it appears someone has given them the wrong phone number or they are scammers. I suggest if this is legit they mail the person they are looking for with whatever information and hope that person has not given them a phoney address as well.  I refuse to call any number with which I personally do not have business with in case of scamming, nor do I answer calls with numbers I do not recogonize.  You can not be to careful these days with scammers.

I keep receiving messages on my answering machine on almost a daily basis from these people to return calls.  They do not identify who they are or who they are calling for.  I have a roommate.  Sorry if you can't identify yourself or the name of the person you are trying to contact, it's a load of BS.  No way I'm calling back
