Got the same blank ECOCAN NOTICE at my door this morning (2011-07-21). A quick canada411 reverse lookup on the phone number leads to "W Systems" in Mississauga. Called and got their voicemail claiming "excess call volumes" and mentioning an "ECO CHECK" delivery. Sounds like another marketting scam to me.

Got a message slip no information taped to my front door from Eco Can. Tried to call - went to voice mail. Tried to Canada 411 reverse look up - directed me to a facebook page.Looks like a scam to me as I was home all day and no one even tried to ring the bell or knock on the door.

I just got the same notice from a company named MCS ground, with a number to call within 48 hours, i called the number and after several attempts, finally got a voice mail with the name of teh company and the hours of operations, I leave in mississauga.thanks for the posting, i think this is an scam

I got notice today too in M section.  Call number; same recorded greeting everyone else says.  Called police to report they can only investigate if money was given but citizens can call phonebusters that investigates even if no money given and even if not over the phone and RCMP etc investigate.
