Bell Canada (Tanya)My wife received these calls from Tanya, claiming to be from Bell Canada, asking for me. ?The caller would not leave any call back information or the reason for the call. I wouldn't even know the phone number if it wasn't for the call display. This happened about half a dozen times, each time while I was at work. I called back twice during the day (from a payphone, which was on purpose) and asked for Tanya. Both times, the person that answered my callback immediately wanted to know my full name, home phone number, and account number, none of which I would provide to a stranger; I won't risk identity theft -- thank-you very much.Since no other information was left by the original caller, I assume the call is about something to do with money; either it's a scam, or someone from Bell Canada's accounting department, or even a collections agency. I'm not concerned that I owe money, since I have not had a Bell phone line for several years (they just plain cost too much). So, as far as I know, there's no reason for Bell Canada to call, and especially not to call mysteriously. The number they called from was (905) 206-9929.

Yes, I dumped Bell for 'Magic Jack'. I was paying $67.00 for the landline, and when I called to cancel they offered a deal at $7.50/mth!!But I turned them down.
