Great idea. I am on the do not call registry but still getting calls from some numbers that seem to get through the cracks (there must be some "holes" in the list?) ... Problem is... its not just the annoyance, but I have to pay for all incoming calls... add long distance and perhaps roaming to that and it gets quite expensive...

Just got a call on cell (telus) from this #. recognized it as east coast and didn't answer. No msg

Just got a call, saw the number on display, picked up hung up.

Just received a call from this number on my Wind mobile phone in Vancouver. Im glad i looked the number up while it was ringing.

What I don't understand is why these d*ck-head callers can't be immediately shut down with a call to one's "service" provider.I can't imagine what a pain in the [***] it would be to get these calls during the day if one were an orderly or nurse working midnight shifts. It's harassment plain and simple. Should be a criminal offense.I wonder how many elderly fall prey to these scams...  

Well, considering it's Remembrance Day I am thoroughly irritated that these people would be calling!  (It appears, from what I have read of the other reports, to be a bogus trip to the Bahamas!) They called twice within a minute, which tells me they are trying to bypass the 'do no disturb' feature on some cell phones...clever! I didn't answer & they left no message.
