Keeps calling me and saysing is grandson 1st time from montreal today from toronto the comes up as (780) 989-8045

Today Nov 3, I received two calls from this number and my elderly mother received 3 calls.  The party calling said he was my son and was in an accident in Toronto, jailed for impaired driving and needed me to wire him $5500 to an Arthur Dolli via Western Union. After my personal investigation, I determined that this was a scam.  My son was just fine and still in Edmonton,  and no such incident took place. I contacted the police and reported this to www.recol.ca . I did not send the money.

I on Jan. 7,2011 2:10pm  I received a call from (780) 989-8045 Name of company that showed up on my call dispaly was from ILC Telcom Inc. and person on other end said hi Grandma I told him he must have the wrong phone number and that is when he said to me no no no I don;t it is me grandma your grandson! I put him on hold and then picked up the phone again and asked him how I could help!!!!!! He hung up on me! I blocked my number and called the number back right away only to find out it asked me for a autorization number. Please be very careful as these people are very sneaky and sound so convincing! I am only 33 years old and am not even a mother yet let alone a grandmother! I was going to try and play a game and see how long it would of gone on but he HUNG UP ON ME!

Got a phone call on Nov 10 from (780) 989-8045  claiming he was my cousin but could not pronounce my maiden name.  Then he decided that he would be a grandson instead.  Before I could hang up on him, he hung up on me.  Number belongs to ILC Telecom Inc.  Which is a division of Rogers.  Presure should be put on Rogers to stop this Scam Artist

Caller is running a scam using relatives andor grand children claming they have being in an accident or something and need money. They pretend to be the relative "Please dont tell my parents as I have been drinking but I need help to pay a $4400 fine" "Send to my lawyer through Western Union" Call is likely a cold call that just happens to catch the contacted individual at a vulnerable moment.
