We are from Edmonton and we received a card in the mail that was a "Cash N Car" scratch crossword ticket. We scratched it and it came up a winner. We were skeptical, but we called the number on the back. The lady asked us a bunch of questions: like if we were married, my boyfriend answered no, and if we had a water system in our house, which he answered yes as we do have one. The lady then asked us to identify which words on our scratch ticket we had, and told us we were guaranteed one of the prizes on the back: a flat screen tv, a speaker system, pots and pans, or a ford mustang. She then asked if they could send a student over for a free water filtration demonstration. We again were skeptical, but thought hey why not we have nothing better to do. The student came over, and did the demonstration. He was a very nice, kind man and knew a lot about the product he was trying to sell. But seeing as we already had a system in place, we declined any services. He then called his boss on his cell phone and got my boyfriend to speak with him. He was very upset and, in so many words, accused us of lying to the initial lady we talked to. Some direct quotes "you stated you were single, but you're not" (the question was are you single or married) and "if I already knew you had a system, I would never have sent out my guy" and "this is a waste of my time and my money".
At the very end, we gave our scratch ticket to the student. He didn't say much about it, just that he would be back tomorrow evening to drop something off. We are not hopeful that we will ever get this free prize. :P
So yeah. I'm going to say this is a scam.

Nothing's free so the alarm bells were ringing right away thought I'd check online first and found this site. Thanks for all your feedback . That's the last thing I need is some more anyoying marketing I don't need. Yet alone some poor senior citizen getting  pressured into buying something they don't need. Regards

AND THAN AT THE END HE TRYS TO GIVE YOU A SHOWER HEAD!!!ALSO BEING IN THE AUDIO AND VIDEO INDUSTRY I NOTICED ON THE TICKET IT SAYS THE "SHARP TV VALUE IS AT " 1800 OR SOMETHING.... FUNNY HOW YOU CANT GET A 70 FOR THAT PRICE... TRY 3500 PLUS...DONT BOTHER CALLING THOSE JERK OFFS!!!FRAUD!!!!

I received the Triple Bingo card in Edmonton. The winning combination is the second square with "X".Called the number (780) 488-2845. Answered questions: if I am the owner of my home, if I am single or married, and the skill testing question on the back of the card.Was told that this is the advertisement company and they want to do presentation of water filtration system in my home. I don't mind to listen to one, because I actually interested in this kind of information. Gave them my address and name.Was told, that some student will come to my home today evening. Then, went online and read a lot of bad comments. Called again, the same gay answered, remembered my name. I told him, what I read on line, and that I still not mind to see the presentation, if in the end I will receive one of the prizes that pictured on the back of the card. And, also said that I don't want any pressure from the sales representative. He said, that he glad that I am intelligent, and that this company is in Edmonton, and they very polite and there is no obligation to buy. And, yes, in the end I will receive the price. My card has the code 346723654XNOTE967Q15-W2 so I believe I will receive a shower head, as I read some comments.I am doing this for an experiment, for everyone else to know how it works. Will update latter how it is ends.
