Got this call tonight. It was around 8 PM. No one spoke but a lot of noise in the backround

Keep receiving calls from this number...no one says anything!!!! Pretty stupid

This person who called me had a indian accent and was a male. I was so confused to why he was calling and asked to talk to the owner of the house. He said the same exact thing to me too. He started calling yesterday. &said he would call again later, which he has done. I ask him multuple of questions which he answered without hesitantion. He said i had a virus the and i told him i was aware of it and already deleted it. He said it was still there.The only thing that doesnt make sense is why didn't best buy (where i bought the computer) or Norton anti-virus contact me instead.

I got the same rude man who told me he was working at Windows. I told him to remove me from his caller list and he emphatically said "NO! I WON'T DO THAT!"  So, I asked again why he was calling and after playing some mind games with him, he hung up.   A suggestion:    Just say you don't own a computer!

Received call. Caller ID Alberta 1-(780) 409-4786. 2:33 PMForeign accent. Says his name is Jason. Has info from my computer since I am a licensed Windows user. He had my name... or at least my last name.Said I didn't know who he was or why he was calling. He repeated, he is Jason!  He needs access to computer cause you can get virus from sites that you visit online. I repeated, didn't know who he was and as such I was hanging up.

Same number called me, from Alberta. Thanks to all of you, I did not answer and will not. I do wish Verizon had a telephone call reject system, but they don't. At least not where I live.

Man with heavy accent said he was calling from IN but Caller ID said Alberta. Said name of company several times but I couldn't understand him. He insisted that my computer was sending him error messages and was going to crash; he needed me to go to my computer so he could walk me thru the repair steps. I told him to email it to me since he has all my info, and hung up. Does anyone really fall for this?

Caller id displayed as 'Alberta', did not leave message. Thx to all here for posts :-)
