Got this call tonight. It was around 8 PM. No one spoke but a lot of noise in the backround

Keep receiving calls from this number...no one says anything!!!! Pretty stupid

I got a call from (780) 409-4786 and was told by a foreign voice almost completely not understandable, that they had my computer SSID number and she needed info from Me. I told her I had no problem and said thank you and hung up. Another phone number on my list of ignore these numbers....Phone ID said Alberta and the above number....

received call 7/3/13 @ 6:14 PM ! Stated our computer was being used by other peopleWhen I start to question them the individual with a foreign accent hung up

keep getting this call from a POTS PHOONE  AB #(780) 409-4786  it is very annoying  I didnot answer at first but now they just keep calling  & donot speak when I answer just hang up  so I cannot get co name

Received call. Caller ID Alberta 1-(780) 409-4786. 2:33 PMForeign accent. Says his name is Jason. Has info from my computer since I am a licensed Windows user. He had my name... or at least my last name.Said I didn't know who he was or why he was calling. He repeated, he is Jason!  He needs access to computer cause you can get virus from sites that you visit online. I repeated, didn't know who he was and as such I was hanging up.

Yep, got the same call; foreign voice with an all American name like David Jones.  That's always the first clue.  He was throwing around that I, as a Windows user, have a virus on my computer and he would help me fix it.  I just told him I had a service that ensures my computer is protected  from viruses and hackers.  He tried to talk me into letting him help me but then said ok and hung up.  Bad news - cyber crime.
