This number IS NOT calling on behalf of RBC. I contacted RBC, and they have no knowledge of this company... any marketing they do, is with a 1-800 number, that is clearly identified on call display as RBC

It is a RBC telemarketing company never trust them or give them private information even if they claim to be apart of a larger parent company such as RBC.

Just got a call from FamTel on behalf of RBC...They asked for me and the wife asked who was calling...she was immediatly put on hold with a recording and someone else answered the phone. She gave the phone to me claimed that I would get my credit rating for free. They asked for my name and adress (which I did not give) and I asked them a few questions and mentioned that I would like to think aboit it and to give me their phone number so I could phone back If I was interested. After asking this two more times I still never received a number to phone them back but did give the"mycreditalert" website. They said they would phone back in a week to see if I decided to get my 30 day free trial.

Second time they called. I do not answer unidentied callers. Plus, I am hardhearing, I did not hear the ring.

Me too, just called it back though with another phone and it's a tele-marketing number apparently so just ignore it. it says you can add your number to the "do not call list" but i'd advise you not to do that just in case they can use it for some other purpose.

Here we go again. They hung up. I called back. Some RBC scam. Has anyone complained to their bank about it? Or to the main office about this crap?

I'm in Toronto. They called and knew my name and said it's about RBC Benefits but it sounded like he was calling from a cell phone on the highway. I said I'm busy now.
