Tired of scam

This number IS NOT calling on behalf of RBC.
I contacted RBC, and they have no knowledge of this company... any marketing they do, is with a 1-800 number, that is clearly identified on call display as RBC

It is a RBC telemarketing company never trust them or give them private information even if they claim to be apart of a larger parent company such as RBC.

Same deal. I went to RBC Website and wrote a complaint as the fellow Jason Currie keeps calling for my son, he keeps hanging up. I have advised RBC via the website that we will be with drawing all our accounts and credit cards with them, unless this ceases immediately. Had the same problem last year. Here's the website http://www.rbcinsurance.com/supportcentre/cli ... _complaint.htmlPass it along.

They called me yesterday from a different number but the process was the same. A man with poor English ( sounded asian) confirms if I am who I am then transfers the line quickly to a professional sounding gentleman ( probably Caucasian) this time though I said yes I'll take the credit alert what info do you need from me? My first and last name? Sure first name g-o. Last name f-u-c-k y-o-u-r-s-e-l-f. After I spelt out my cleverly phrased "name" the man transferred me without saying anything to a lady with broken english who wanted to confirm my name as well so I spelt it out again and she said it didn't match up to the name they had on file .  Then hung up on me. I'm telling you it's fun to mess with scammers don't let them win . I know these guys are scammers they have called from 250 numbers 323 numbers are local area codes all the same voices meaning they are using a system similar to the magic jack which allows you to create your own phone number wherever you may be in the world. Don't be fooled folks.

I got a call which my husband answered two days ago asking for me and then tonight I answered the same  call.  778 is a BC cell phone number.  Like everyone here, they want to give me a free credit report and the next report which comes out monthly will cost me $18 a month and will be charged to my RBC visa.  The guy speaks perfect English and very smooth trying to push me to agree and told me I only have to call back to cancel the charge if I decide not to get a monthly credit report.  I listened to his whole script wondering why RBC would do such a thing to their customer and why would I need a monthly credit report on my credit status.  I asked him why would RBC give him authority to call me?  He said they are a marketing firm RBC hired and then kept pushing me to confirm my name!  Somehow they knew my first name and home number.  I don't know from where though cause my home number is not under my name.  Anyways, I gave my RBC rep a nasty e-mail saying if you hired Famtel to solicit something to me, I will be VERY upset and I need to speak to someone who is dealing with this marketing campaign.  Will see what RBC has to say.
