DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CRIMINALS! CBV Collections are known for purchasing old debt files from companies for pennies on the dollar and trying to collect on them. These old debt files are usually already written off by the companies the money was originally owed to. Thus any money you send them goes into their pockets, not to the companies the debts are with. If you think you owe a debt and you want to pay it off, deal directly with the company you owe the money to. If you are unsure then get a copy of your credit report. If CBV are trying to get money from you, the debt will most likely show up on your credit report as written off by the original company.

They are using different phone numbers, just block the numbers

The people using this number are Criminals, they are exploiting the law, do NOT deal with them, do not pay them anything ever. This company CBV collections finds out when a debt has been written off, meaning whoever you owed the money too has give up and filed it as a loss on their tax form .... you no longer owe this money and the company will not seek to collect it.... but CBV pays a 2 cent on the dollar ( IF they collect fee) so they try to collect it, even tho you do not owe it any longer, they will never stop, all you can do is block their number, do not pay them a cent, they are usinbg idiot workers with no clue, like homeless people to get on the phones and lie and bully.

I get calls from this number every single day, going on over 2 weeks now. Just an automated voice saying i need to call back about an "important business matter". Have read on several websites now this is a scam.

Call three or more times a day. I have a new phone cell number, do not know how they have it. I have blocked the number so they can not leave a voice mail.

They can call all they want because I don't answer unknown callers, but my fax machine will. If they can't abide by provincial legislation then they can go suck on a egg.

yes they call several times in a row, then none for a few days and then call back
I have read reports that they have been under police investigation before which says do not answer the call as they care scammers too
also I had a call from the US as well which was probably a routed call
will not answer or talk to them
even if they are a collection, they are only 3rd party, if they want to collect anything they need to sue you and they never will cause they know they won't get anything and only a legal bill.
I have notified my lawyer and he has said to only respond with call my lawyer we are waiting
also if you talk to them let them know you have contacted the RCMP concerning them

Telus is a scamming bunch of criminals.

Consistently calling me from this number. Pretty annoying. How so we make them stop?

CBV is a collection agency owned by Bob Richards and his business uses a computer system to harass people who owe his clients money. If you want to communicate directly with him, Bob lives at 8337 16th Ave Burnaby BC V3N1S2 (Canada) and his home phone number is (604) 526-9410.

You shouldn't answer that number, it's a spam and I got told that if you answer it they will somehow get all your information from your cell. Like bank information, contacts and etc.

It's not always Telus, I'm with Rogers and I use to get 5 a day but now I'm only getting 1 a day.

& I'm always getting this unknown callers right before and sometimes right after they call me. I get almost 3 a day..

I to keep getting calls from this number, I will tell you all what Telus does, if you owe money to them, they will give your file to a few different collection agencies, if you decide to pay the bill to the collection agency, Telus won't say anything else to the other collection agencies that you did pay it therefore you will still keep getting calls from different numbers. Telus is a scam anyways, thats why I refuse to pay them a dime more. I got rid of my cell phone from them and just have a landline and I do not give out my number.

This is exactly what they are a company posing as Telus they told me that I had outstanding charges from 2013 and when I called Telus they said you have no charges....freaky that they had my phone number and old address! I bet they sitting in Nigeria somewhere as they all had very thick accents and when I said how can I pay $389.00 for something I know nothing about...I asked them to send an invoice lol of course they could not....They suggested I pay as my credit was being affected....what a joke!Yes they did hang up ! I let Telus know about it too...

I called this number and they are some agency in Vancouver and had me under the name as Matthew. I called them asked that my number to be removed. They are terrible people there. When I called I was quiet upset because they keep calling the cell phone which is a fortune if I were to answer. Anyways since I was upset they hung up on me. I had to call them twice to have it remove but they promise no more phone calls. The best part they said "Matthew" under this number requested them to call this number. Sounds really fishy to me.

this company is CBV collections and sure i owe money on telus i don't dispute that what i do dispute is the amount, Telus somehow racked my bill to over $5000, on a phone that wasn't even in use.  I told them to let me speak to their legal team and instead i was told off and told i should accept their one time offer a special deal for today only,lmao yes of course its a special deal cause they wanna soak me for every dime they can.
i kindly told the lady i would be happy to pay the $300 i actually owe, but $5000 i don't think so.
the lady even started asking me for my financial information, such as my account number,where i work my SIN, like really i would NEVER give out my personal info ever. you know i've been with bell,telus and fido and out of all the companies only Fido serves me good, Telus will rip you off ten ways to sunday and Bell will overcharge you on anything and everything. Fido on the other hand bills by the second and always has very cheap plans and i haven't got a complaint about them yet.
I would simply ignore this company and let them take you to court but chances are they don't wanna spend the money in lawyers fees so they try to bully you into paying them...DON'T

Said they were telus and I owed them money. Asked for my information. I said no because I was NEVER with telus. I argued with them and they hung up. They're scammers!!!! This is the 3rd time talking to them.

I had problems with these guys and changed my numbers and now they found my new number. These guys are a bother
