Recording states that I am being awarded a Free gift as a Costco member. ?When you press 1 it hangs up.  this is the second one I received.    I think it is a scam.

Just got this call at 1605 2010-08-13.  Automated message stating "Because you are a valued Bell Canada customer you will receive three thousand travel dollars.  To accept, press 1."  

Obvious scammer robocall.  I hung up.

got a call. Didnt answer but left a VM..

automated VM saying my cookies were recalled from Costco which is true.

re (705) 981-7877Sounds like a telemarketer BUT is a scammer.since the call claimed to be from Costco, I called Costco and the representative there told me that it is a fraudulent scam thing. She said that if you press the number that they want you to press, that you are likely to have long distance charges applied to your bill, or if they ask for Credit card number .... So far only cell phones are being targeted. The police have been notified and are working on it and Costco is keeping track of any reports to them of said calls.
