Recording states that I am being awarded a Free gift as a Costco member.  When you press 1 it hangs up.  this is the second one I received.    I think it is a scam.

Got a call from them that I got $2000 press 1 to accept, then through to an agent. I said "eh...", then got a reply "OK byebye."

She said that if you press the number that they want you to press, that you are likely to have long distance charges applied to your bill, or if they ask for Credit card number .... So far only cell phones are being targeted. The police have been notified and are working on it and Costco is keeping track of any reports to them of said calls.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer, I don't answer numbers I don't know. No voice mail left. Dialed it back and got a message saying the number is not assigned.
