I pick up but don't' make a sound...just listen. Usually a hang up (robo calls). Ignore them and eventually they will stop. Do NOT talk to them or any telemarketer. Just ignore them.

Oh I took it out on this guy, because he asked the wrong questionHe went into this thing about his company and when I said I was not interested, he said "why are you not interested". Bad mistake. I swore and cursed and screamed and yelled and hollered and just raised hell on his end. I could tell he is passing bricks in terror at this point, saying "Please! Please! Please! I am so sorry! so very very sorry!" in his middle east accent. I must have put the fear of whatever deity he worshiped into himI felt so good too after I hung up, like a weight was lifted from my shouldes. Venting spleen. Good times. BaneP.S. The same thing happened to me today too. I answered but no one spoke on the other end, they just hung up after 5 or so seconds. I think what they are trying to do is to test if anyone is home so that they can send their marketing team to these numbers. That way their chances of getting someone to talk to is higher.

Woman whose English I could barely understand said she wanted to speak to the home owner.

Since I lave in an apartment, I simply said "This is not a house; no home owner", and she hung up before I did.

I wanted to check to see if I could identify the company, so I dialed #69 and the recording said "This number is not in service."!!!!!???

I told the guy we had a 5,000 square foot barn with 50 ducks and 4 vents. He didn't get it. I had some fun with him while he tried, with difficulty, explaining his services and that it would cost about $500  given the information that I had given him. I then mentioned the cows and pigs that I needed cleaning. He still didn't get it. Finally, I told him that we don't have a furnace but we have 50 ducks. He realized that he had been played, sarcastically laughed and hung up.

Bingo, the joke was on him.

David from this duct cleaning company name not specified (647) 932-6339, continues to call even after he is requested politely everytime to remove me from his calling list.I made the mistake of telling him what system I have in my home, which is not air ducts only to be taunted by this moran that he shall share my number to an alternative company that deals in the system that I have.This should be illegal but still they continue to get away with it because of anonimity. People should be aware of peoples right to their privacy and if I should be looking for a service of any sorts I have the intelligence to sauce this for myself. Please do something about this
