I was just defrauded of 2KUSD and have been receiving threatening texts from unknown numbers. Now I'm getting calls from this number; I suspect they are related (Nigerian money-laundering scam). Ignore it.

Got called by this # at 1:00 AM, someone speaking foreign language then they hung up on me after waking me up!!!

i got a call today from this #. There was a voice message left that sounded way slowed down and kind of creepy.

"Fongo App" ??? Wow since yesterday- above 8:55pm I got the call and no tone.
Just two minutes ago, I got the call again from the same number, I Google it, found may of you having the same problem from (647) 727-0241. I am sure, someone could do something about this un wanted phone call at 9:20pm.

What a wasted human energy. They could have do something meaningful for their family and for themselves, especiallyHoliday Season, agreed?

(647) 727-0241 called me 2 times tonight. said its from ontario canada. phony phone number. BÆWARE!!!!! dont answer it!

647 is the area code for Ontario, Canada. It is a cellular phone number area code. For those saying it is from Asia, you are sadly mistaken; unless your family members are using the Fongo App for smart phones, but that would require your family to download, install, and install the App only when they were in Canada at some point.

I got a call from this no# and was not able to call them back immediatly. I tried reaching the no# , it rings bu no one picks the call!!!.....its very annoying.....i keep getting calls when i am in meetings:(

It is the displayed ID number when you got an international call using some kind of phone cards. I got two calls today with (647) 727-0241 displayed. I missed the first call. When I checked the number, I feel annoyed since I did not know where it came from and it did not go through when I called back. However, I got the 2nd call and found out that they came from my family from China.

I have received six calls from (647) 727-0241.  I can't call it back from my cell.  The messages are scratchy and undiscernable.

I get this all the time. I have two friends in Hong Kong who call me and this number appears. I think China's calls are routed through a Canadian communications center and then to the United States and it just shows the same caller ID number

I just got a call from that number at 11:30pm.Caller ID says Ontario, Canada.There was a couple, talking to each other, maybe in a car.I couldn't make out what they were saying but it sounded like english.Although I m convinced some words were French...Very annoying.

This annoying number keeps calling me day and night, who the hell is this anyway!?!?!
