I was given a basic free life insurrance policy from Scotia a number of years ago cuz i was a loyal customer. I was originaly told that i would have it as long as i stayed with them, then all of a sudden one day i recieved a letter stating that as of a past dated my policy was cancelled & no i haven't even closed the account even to this date. But they keep calling to try to sell me a policy even though i have told them once before that i wasn't interested. It is a cell phone number that they keep calling me on, i hate telemarketers calling & pestering me on my cell!

Pushy. Twice I said I didn't want it, and she kept talking at me. Eventually just hung up on her.

Woman calling was rude, wanted to know who I was without telling me what she was calling about, had to ask her to put me in the do not call list 5 times and tell her I would phone the crtc 3 times before she would stop asking who I am first, don't call my f*cking number and ask who I am you are calling me!!

I know this is a telemarketer because they always call after six our time zone.  It would be 8:00pm Ontario time.

I got the same call. Didn't leave a message. How annoying!

Just got a call.    Actually very polite - asked for my husband, when I said he wasn't in, they told me it was Scotia Bank making a customer service call.

01116472883817 is how it pops up on my phone (I use Vonage VoIP)

If it's an important call, I.e., you're mortgage is in err's,   BELIEVE ME, they'll identify themselves on a voice mail with instructions for you to call them back.  Guaranteed.

I suspect it's probably Scotia Bank (East India) call centre.  I answered once, and it was Scotia Bank, but the gentlemen on the other end had a very thick (what I believe to be) East Indian accent.

I politely told him that I've instructed Scotia Bank to NOT call me, and hung up....

I get this number popping up in groups of 3 or 4 times a day, at various times.  Then would go silent for about a week, and then resume.  Don't they get it, 90+% of the population has Caller ID -- And since I pay for voice mail, that's all any number that calls me gets to hear.  I'll reply back if it's important.

I have no account with Scotia bank or whatever and there was no Scotia bank name to it on my phone, also I just got my new cell phone and they already called, is someone selling the phone numbers to telemarketers or they just dialing whatever they can come up with randomly? Anyway, spam, I am not going to answer and if I have time I will report it, for now will just try to block it for good.
