After 15 minutes of discussion, I told the women that we are not interested. She remained polite. When I tried to call back at this number, it said the number is no longer in service.

I received 1 call today from (613) 737-2889.I called back and the # is not in service. How can this be?

Same thing here. CRTC should make call display - phone AND name - mandatory for all, including cell phones. Those people hide behind untraceable cell phones. Just criminal.

I called Bell canada and they told me that could be a number use by telemarketing and that is why I can call back
She told me to file a complain to the CRTC anyway (they can track the number)

3 days in a row...getting called from supposibly a solar energy company call is in french...Every time I say I am NOT interested and that I am on the CRTC exception list and should'nt be bothered by anyone selling stuff like this
Yesterday I asked if they knew about CRTC and they hung up....Today I really gor fed up (Was napping) told them Gees 3rd day in a row that you are calling here, i am on exception list and they hung up...really harassing...

Same thing happened to me today. No matter how many times I asked for a website address so I could check it out for myself, she wouldn't give me one. I eventually hung up.

same thing for energy rebate.. sounds like scam.. asking too many questions. I told them i wanted to check their website and they hung up. How is it not possible to track and destroy these people with todays technology...

They called stating they were from microsoft and that my computer could not receive messages. Microsoft does not make house calls. scam

This guy called at 8:50am on a Saturday. Heavy chinese accent. I actually ended messing around with him, he was looking into helping me with my computers problems. So I played along because right from the start I knew this was a BS call. Gave him bogus answers and asked to repeat the same things over and over again. He was persistent. Ended the call by asking him if he was gay because I was looking for some male action.

I was called about my computer having a "virus" and that they have my info and everything about me.They knew my I.P. address.They called again and again and again then I told them to go shove it.Windows Tech Support my a**.

Multiple calls from this number to our office line.Different people, claiming to be from different cities, all detailing a problem relevant to our company's services.Seems like they are doing "competition research" - coming up with fake scenarios in order to see what we offer, and how much we charge for it.This morning, a man called from this number, identifying himself as being from the Montreal region.

March 8, 2014, just got a call, 9h15am, I only heard a beep then it said goodbye and it hung up....suspicious.....

Caller had an Indian accent and identified themselves as "Windows Support Center".  Caller id was "unknown", but it was a 613 number so appeared to be local.   I'm on the Do Not Call list, but clearly they don't respect that.  He offered to fix my computer -- an obvious phishing attempt.  I told him there no such company as "Windows Support Center" and to go away.Really bugs me to think that these guys may snag some computer neophyte and con them into thinking they are from Microsoft by calling themselves "Windows" whatever.  I've heard "Windows Technical Support" and other variations.Too bad the Call Type on this site doesn't include "Scammer".  Calling them a Telemarketer feels like legitimizing what they do.
