- same scam with CCRA - calling back; these sick people should go to jail for fraud;

Got a call from same number just now.  He said that he is officer Patrick Cooper from Revenue Canada.  I owed on taxes and need to call back right away to the number.  I wouldn't call back because that can confirm something for them and they might be able to start scamming something.  1-(613) 704-1474.  I reverse looked it up and it said that it was out of Brockville Ontario.  It says that it is a landline for - Iristel Inc.  I haven't looked them up yet.Thought I would post for the variation on the scam that you guys have already mentioned.

I also had a recent call from (613) 704-1474. I thought it was real but I really don't remember owing anything about taxes. Do I do anything about it? it's just sad that this is a scam. I actually fell for it.

I got the same call from (613) 704-1474 saying that he is from Revenue Canada and somebody filed a Law Suit against me. They wanted me to call them back urgently to clear my name, otherwise I will be Black Listed and my Social Insurance Number will be block forever.

this guy gave me his name as Richard Harper, Pakistani guy badge #118365, said the RCMP were coming to arrest me by 330 today, that I owed over $2000 in taxes from last year, they tried to come to my house in Nov/2014 but no one home and now I only had till 330 to settle this with them or I would go to jail. Knew this was scam, still upset me, phoned husband who called them and called them out, phoned police who also said it was a scam. This is sad for older people who they could easily upset into giving money...so MAD!!!
