May 28, 2015 received call at 1:38 PM in Manitoba. It was an automated call saying they we trying to get a hold of me. That they were calling from Canada Revenue Service and that they were warning me that a warrant for my arrest had been issued and to call them back at (613) 655-9943. The prefix 613 is from the Cardinal/Ottawa area. I did not call them back.

Man with a heavy accent called, quoting a badge number. saying an arrest warrant was issued against me due to tax issues from 2010 - 2013. Accent was so heavy, I could not understand him so I requested to speak to someone with better English. Was put on hold for a while. A person came back on the line, still with a heavy accent. I kept insisting to speak to someone understandable until the caller told me to 'Go **** myself' and hung up.

we received a nasty call on May 27th from an officer called James Carter from the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) stating they had 3 federal charges against us and for us to call immediately or else?!!!!!  I called the number given back 4 times and i can't get through it is busy at all times!!!  1 (613) 655-9943

on May 27th I rec'd a phone call from a male with a south asian accent who identified as "Daniel Peterson; Badge#16712". He began by asking if I am "...". I replied yes. "Mr. Peterson" then told me a warrant had been issued for my arrest because I had "improperly paid" my income tax between 2009 and 2014. I asked what his title is and he said "Investigation Chief". I said that if he is calling from CRA he must know my line of work; he said he didn't.I asked him the name of his Supervisor and to be connected with same. He replied that I could ask the name. When I insisted he answer my questions, "Mr. Peterson" said his Supervisor's name is "James Scotland--Head of Department". He said he would connect me but ended the call.When I attempted to call back, I got a "busy" tone. Later when I called, the number rang and rang without answer.

Caller left a message in computerized man's voice saying there is a legal case against us by the Canada Revenue Agency and a warrant has been issued, and to call back (613) 655-9943.  The message was not directed to a single person in our household, which made us suspicious, and not a 1-800 # to call back.  The CRA has not contacted us by mail, so we're ignoring it.  Probably phishing for personal info...
