I wonder if the scammers are going through a Telus BC phonebook?

Caller called twice.  Claimed to be from CRA.  I suggested the call was suspect and would call them back.  I did not.

Agressive male voice telling he's from canada revenu agency(cra)accusing us of taxe fraud, asking to call (613) 604-9949 ASAP or we are going to deal with police today !!!

Just got the same call, a female voice recording saying something about tax evasion & there is a criminal case against me & i will be served by the county sheriffs department today, I need to call them right away. The phone # is (613) 604-9949I was working on taxes last week and am really freaked out right now. if you call back it is busy and then it says for $3 they will monitor the number and ring back if you press * ? I did and it kicked me off. I am probably just gave them permission to give my number out to the underworld of criminal scams.

same thing...called me 4 times today.  don't give them any information.  If they say the cops are showing up in 45 minutes (gotta be a record for tax evasion.)....say something dirty and witty (  try to be clever :) ) and hang up on him.  Piece of garbage.  Call the cops and they'll most likely direct you to the anti fraud center.

I was at my boyfriends place today he got this call! Claiming the sheriff would be dropping by to serve notice.
