I just filed a complaint with the CRTC regarding this number (613) 482-0359 calling my home. It belongs to the Canadian police Association.  I phoned the number and a recorded message stated that they have upcoming events and wanted my support.This is unacceptable.

Got a response today from them. They 'claim' to be from an organization called Cops for Kids and are fishing around for donations to their cause. Just one slight little problem: The police have stated time and time again they NEVER solicit donations over the phone.

Was also given a website. www.copsforkids.com. Whois identifies them as Xentel DM Corporation out of Calgary. I think these guys are registering through them to avoid publicly revealing their name. I never visited the site but I would strongly recommend avoiding it as well.

Repeated phone calls and no responce when I do answer...I want this to stop...

So sick of calls from these numbers. Was getting calls from one number 10 times a day. Put my name and number on the do not call list. Now I receive 20 - 30 calls a day from theses same types of numbers. I finally decided to have my home phone disconnected and just use my cell. Many of my friends are doing this. Seeing as the phone companies cant do anything, it will be their loss on the revenue they lose from their ex- customers.
