I just called another sympatico number and they varified that it was a bell rep that called me.

got a call from this # (613) 239-0150) 13.Feb.2008I'm from Montreal . Looks like the # originates from Ottawa.

this number called but when we picked up, nobody answered.we have had issues with bell, and it seems they are spyingif and who picks up the phone.  we are not paranoid, but basedon other comments, it's reasonable to assume the above.

I just had a call from them saying that they have noticed my internet is not as fast as the other sympatico customers in my neighbourhood. They asked for my number on my modum and asked how long my phone cord is that is attached to it. When I said 20 feet, he said that might be why it is running slow. He said that I should not have a phone cord any longer than 6 feet attached to the modum. He asked me when I could fix it, I said sometime this week and he said he will call back next week. It it is not fixed after I changed the phone cord than he will send a tec out to see why it is running so slow.  Has this happened to anyone before? If so did someone come out to your place?
