received a call from this number, said they were going to help me lower my credit card interest rates. I asked for which card and he said CIBC. I've never banked there, so I told him that he was a piece of s*** scammer, and he proceeded to spew out filthy language and make comments that were too inappropriate to post here. These people are dirt bags, hang up on them, or better yet block this number completely. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke, and anyone who is in another country doesn't bother to follow the laws anyway.

Ian No offense I appreciate you trying to help me out.  The Do Not call List Doesn't Work I have been on it since it came out. It doesn't stop Scam calls like these anymore . Like I said in my post that you were replying to I am sure they change the number everyday as I have seen the Same Scam in many ways for over the years It's a call center using spoofing/& auto Dialers to see if someone is home.  then they will call back using a diff number. So It's impossible to report it. I am also beginning to think, The Do Not Call List is a Scam to to collect phone numbers for a call list. not sure but Seems kind of funny that It's supposed to be a legit List but We all still get called almost every Day from Diff Numbers. I refuse to Click on the links you have posted for the same reason. I also suggest others to avoid clicking links posted on this site as well.   I  Suggest the Public to never Answer  Calls from people they don't know & don't Click any unknown  links on the Web or  on this Site Either.   Just Trying to help all hagd!

My experience is the same as Arlene in Edmonton. (Excellent post BTW).And they sure do keep changing the number though the message remains the same.

Received a call from this number today. Came up as Long Distance but no name. I am in northern Ontario. I have not had any relief from filling out the complaint form on the CRTC website about the Do Not Call infractions. We are at the mercy of these aggressive scammers who will do anything to make a buck. Just like the 'Air Duct Cleaning' services that call constantly. Too bad Bell cannot shut them down!

As everyone has figured out by now, these are very annoying and useless calls trying to Phish information from you. God help you if you fell into their stupid tactics, I hope that in 2014 no one is so gullible. For you Guys in Vancouver BC Canada, this is an approximate location of the source of these calls, although not confirmed, it seems to be the headquarters of the server or phone number that calls. Maybe you should pass that on to your Local RCMP Fraud Squad. Thanks? for your help if you can do something.FYI, if you get calls from (604) 251-1333 or many other 604 area calls that can change daily and, if you are not sure who called you, don?t bother to even post a reply to this site. Report the number to your local RCMP in Canada, as a Fraud and Phishing  scam or, if you are in the USA, report  them to your Local authorities which should decide if the FSA should keep a track of all your received
