Caller: A friend

I set a friend up today on Public Mobile, and they were trying to call out before the porting was done, and although they were calling my number, the destination number on their public mobile account shows this number...(587) 580-4001.
SO, I am assuming that you folks who are getting these calls, its someone who is patiently waiting for their number to port over to public mobile, and the system is directing their call to you.

Why won't Telus do something about this , it's their number.

Yes, I too am getting this caller on my android.Very frustrating.

This number insert as my fowarnumber without, my knowledge.

Woman's voice, crying then hangs up from this number. Prank call. Very disturbing.

sounded likea need t call before i am arrested on a federal warrent or something along that line. i am bloody tired of crank calls. if its that important they can come and see me!!!

I get the same thing not sure what is going on or how it gets into my call forwarding. Very frustrating.

My carrier (Public Mobile) lists that I have called this number 16 times over the past month for calls lasting between 0:01 and 0:34. I have never called this number and my phone log has no record of these calls.

i got a call for this number and got a voice mail for something important. called again to find nothing

(587) 580-4001 called my cellular several times and I got either "This is an important matter that requires your immediate attention" or no voicemail at all.If they want us to call back, tell us who they are and who they represent along with why they are calling.When I see numbers I don't know and they don't leave messages or leave one like this, it tells me they are not credible.

I got a voice message that filled up my inbox from this number.  It sounded like a pocket dial.

I get it and it inserted its number into my call forward and I can not remove it
