Got called this afternoon and answered, message was played then call disconnected. Just got a call again (5:30ish).
Have received calls before either from 'affiliates' of companies you have an existing relationship with (far reaching to find that connection, but apparently makes them allowed to call) or from market survey people. Claimed they were allowed to call as they were not selling anything.
But grrr! What's the point of this? Has anyone actually pressed 1 to see what happens?

Got a call on my Virgin Mobile at 5:39 pm PST on Monday June 14, 2010 but missed the call. No message left.I have no idea how this person/company got my phone # and I have no family or businesses in Ontario. I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST.Nobody has my cell # except my family and some of my relatives.Whomever is calling, please check the # you are calling (local or long distance) and try again. I have a call display and if I don't recognize the # calling me, I will decline the call, delete any messages left, and report the callers' name and # in!

calling my bell canada cell phone. Did not answer but tried to call back only to find out number is not in service...how do we get this nonsense to stop?

I got a call from (519) 989-6969 on Telus cell this aft at 4:11 pm in Vancouver. I do not usually get Spam on cell phone. This is an annoying concern. I didn't answer as I did not hear the ring.
