I have seen this number more than once - this time I answered it - no one was on the other end - so I called back, the number did not exist. Is this a new way for telephone soliciting? Phantom phone numbers? Check to see if someone answers to call you back?

This Number (519) 973-1685, has been popping up for a lot of people. I just installed this new app that was mentioned in Mac Life Magazine called iCall. It's an app that you can use from you're computer or iPhone to call landlines completely free. I then tested it out and it worked. I would have thought that it would put unknown caller but this number showed up. I beleive anyone can use this number and is basically a generic for caller ID masking. Weird...

I received a call from this number this evening.  There was a lady that wanted to do a "survey" on banking.  She asked if I did the banking in the family and when I said yes, she then asked me what banks and financial institutions do we do our banking and investing at?I told her I wasn't comfortable giving her this information and she said no problem, have a good night.
