called my cellphone which is rarely turned on or used. I answered but recognized the answer delay of a telemarketer so didn't stay on line. This occured at prime call time (3:00 pm)

(Male - with a slight East Indian Accent) Asked for me by name.
Told me I won $25,000. Then asked for my birthdate to verify my identity.
I told the person I was uncomfortable giving personal info on the phone.
He said thank you and hung up.

I called the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-+1 888-654-9426 and talked to an officer,
reported this instance.
He had 2 other complaints at this time but would forward for actions to investigations.
Anyone receiving calls from this number can call and report that this relates to incident #768984.

(519) 454-8028 called me twice, so far, today. They asked for me by name when my wife answered the phone. When I called back, they said the number is not in use.

i have been getting the same call

This number keeps calling my daughter and asking for me. Not sure how they got her number but she keeps telling them that they have the wrong number but they callh er at least twice a week. She is only 17 so not evne legal to enter into any contracts etc. but its annoying non the less. How do you make them stop calling? Especially calling her phone. I don't want them calling me either. tell them to leave me alone and stop calling you can't through when you try to call them

They just called but I never answer those who do not identitfy themselves through caller ID - my number has been given to friends and family only so I suspect they are telemarketers
