I was just called from this number.  The voice said "as a valued fido customer you get $3000 travel dollars." and asked to press 1 to accept.  Fido was pronounced as "fee-dough". I hung up.

I got the call on my cell too. I phoned it back because we have friends in the 519 area code and when the call went through it told me the # was not in service. Hmmm.

total BS scam.  Said I was a valued Canadian Tire customer and I won travel dollars.  If I ever catch the guy responsible for these stupid calls...

they called me on my cell phone where i pay by the minute - no free minutes.
They said something about me being a valued Bell customer.  But my cell is not a Bell cell.

kinda freaky too since its one of those automated messages voice.

Same with "Valued Rogers Customer".  Sounds like a scam!  I wanted to see if I can string them along, so I pressed 1.  They then asked me if I'm over a certain age and have a credit card, said yes, then put me on hold for 5 minutes.  I hung up.
