Received call from (514) 905-3700 today. Caller showed Montreal Canada. The caller did not identify themselves, and they wanted the last 4 digits of Social Security number and year of birth. Promptly hung-up and add caller to block list. A Scam!!!! Be careful!!

514-90[45]-xxxx are numbers belonging to Allstream/Primus Canada, not Bell.
Which is good, since they don't like telemarketers either.
They even offer TelemarketingGuard for free (for their customers!) along with comprehensive call filtering (by time, number or range of numbers and the call can be rejected, sent to voicemail or sent to a black hole (i like it! rings until the mofo loses interest)).

If you get a call from any of their numbers (look up whose exchange it is in NANPA lists,
Allstream and Primus are theirs), call their customer service 1+1 800-806-3273  and report the telemarketroid.

With enough reports, they'll probably/hopefully do something about it.

If that does not help, their techs may be more helpful: 1+1 800-370-0015 (416) 236-3636


As a general thing I learnt from the internet business, if someone does something bad on the phone or net, COMPLAIN TO THE PROVIDER. Make sure the provider gets enough complaints to disconnect the mofos.

I think this is a creditor, but I'm not sure.
